Bonbons created solely from white Criollo cocoa from the prestigious Mexican La Joya plantation
Tasting notes: ‘La Joya’ is a chocolate full of surprises from the moment you set eyes on it. Its colour is light, which is rare when considering its high cocoa content. On the nose, fruity and acidic aromas mix with subtle notes of tobacco, raisins and liquorice. It melts gently and slowly in the mouth to reveal acidic flavours of red fruits followed by raisins and plums. When the intensity begins to subside, notes of tobacco and liquorice emerge and then gradually fade away. An exceptional chocolate that hides the basic essence of the first cocoas grown by the Mayans.
