Our Xoconusco chocolates are made using a legendary cocoa, Royal Criollo of Xoconusco. For a long time, it was exclusively consumed by kings. The first person to cherish its extraordinary quality was the Aztec emperor, Montezuma. Later the Spanish crown decreed that it could be called Real (Royal), from where it gets its name. Now with a system LIGHT ROAST: a revolutionary manufacturing process that preserves the primary aromas of these unique cocoa beans and respects enhancing the flavour precursors formed during the fermentation stage.
